RWYB Drag Racing anyone? - SV650.org

Its been nearly two years since we had a great day out at Santa Pod - any one fancy another day out? - There are loads more RWYB (run what ya brung) days than there used to be - they do them on Saturdays too now...

I know most of you probably arent interested unless there are loads of corners but we had a great time last time - and its more fun than you might think

Its £10 to get in and then £20 for as many runs up the strip as you like - you dont have to take part as there is plenty of opportunity for chatting and socialising between runs

Any interest at all? Probably wont be until July time as there is plenty going on between now and then...

Slight flaw in my plan - looking at the dates properly the next date bikes can go freely to is Saturday 16th August! D'oh!

That'll be the fastest SV of the day then!

Just looked at Shakespeare County Raceway and they dont have many RWYBs either - I seem to remember there being loads of them when I used to drag race my Mustang 5.0!

York drag strip always has days going, £20 from what i can remember, they allow cars and bikes on their days regardless.

They sort out the vehicles by engine CC though so not many fun things to race against.
