Want to get rid of that scooter/taxi sound of a horn on the SV.
Been briefly browsing for the Stebel Magnum, i want something loud and "quality" sounding and most of all something easy to fit ![]() What did you recommend changing it for? |

Now then, horns eh?
The Stebel Magnum is the one I opted for. It you want to be cheeky, it's a direct replacement for the stock horn (just cut the stock connector in half). I even helped fit one at AR07 (OK, I tell a lie, I drunk beer & he fitted it to his own bike...). I decided that a single Stebel Magnum wasn't loud enough (135dbA IIRC). So I added another. This wasn't loud enough either, so I added some marine air horns. ![]() It's starting to sound quiet again... or is that my hearing that's going? ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() ?13.99 from Halfrauds. I used the two metal brackets that came in the pack and wedged them behind the radiator cover. It has a nice rounded 'parp' sound (model TM80/1) and works well on drivers and sheep ![]() As mentioned I had to split the connector and some sheath with wire cutters, it's very short and limits the horn placement options. As an aside I found the horn will screw directly into the radiator hole if needed, but might help bend it if you drop the bike.

If you use 2 horns then you need a relay IMO

yeah easy peasy just gota make a little bracket up and it will sit just on top of the radiator hose on the right hand side behind the radiator.
