Default Rear Hugger

I'm on the lookout for a Rear Hugger for my '00 plate SV650S

Where is the best place to buy from?

Bike is Blue with Red wheels (Not to everyone's taste, I know!) but would want the hugger to be jet black.

Any idea's?

i got a red fox one. think you'll find some if you look on internet as i cant member the shop i got it from. itwasnt that expensive and fits real nice. Its also made of plastic which im told is better as fibre ones get stone chips and then soak up water.

ive not got any pics but ill try an get one for you to mo if you like.

ps it is jet black which personally i think would look good on yours, blend with the seat and screen etc.

I got a Harris real carbon fibre one off of ebay a while back. Got a really good deal and it looks brilliant, it's a really good fit and is very strong. I've not seen another one since but I would definetly recommend one.

Cheers - I'll have a look at these.

Take it they are pretty easy to fit?

Look like they replace the chain guard too, yes???

Or you could always buy a red one & spray it if you dont like the colour
Look at this post from Sammy, Demonbikes have a couple left at £25 brand new

But they are a bit nasty IMO. You keep the existing chainguard which is pretty naff and use zips ties, I believe, could be totally wrong there, to fix in place.

Powerbronze do one too,but that uses a steel bracket that quickly rusts and looks terrible too.

I recently bought a pyramid one off quiff, but never fitted it, its a black sort of carbon look http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.p...ghlight=hugger
if the link works you,ll have all the info you need.I dont have an SV any longer so if you want it let me know. Btw it just attaches using a couple of heavy duty cable ties apparently.
