Default Change rod woes.

I took my change rod off for measuring yesterday, with view to having a new one made. Unfortunately I have left it somewhere and it's now disappeared. i suspect it somehow ended up in with some rubbish that was taken to the dump but nobody will own up to seeing the "bent, rusted piece of metal" that I'm sure i left on the dining room table...

So what size is the change rod for a 2000 Sv650S?

Anybody?

It is. RH thread one end LH on the other. It wouldn't adjust otherwise.

+1 - as you unscrew one end it screws in the other end, thus keeping it secure and providing a different to the angle whilst keeping the distance universal.

If it was LH thread one end and RH thread the other, when you unscrew one side the other would also unscrew...

Yeap, it is on both of mine anyway. Try somewhere like Pro Bolt if you are looking for an aftermarket alloy one.
