This might sound really stupid but did you tick the box next to the post a poll option. It should then bring up another page to input the options.

These people that try and do things they have now knowledge of.
 It is not possible to change the poll to a public one. The only way to do that is to try again. As a consiquence I have locked the thread. FG1. c- for effort must try harder. No go do it again.
