Well I want to confirm that indeed Paws you are right I am scatty.

I was just getting in the shower, took my mobile out my jean pocket and went to put on cistern of loo. It jumped out my hand like a slippery fish straight down the pan

Now it don't work, initially it did odd thing, said it was charging when it wasn't plugged into a charger, turned itsef off and on and then vibrated lot, now it just sleeping

RIP my Samsung ...... so noone text me cause I ain't gonna answer LOL

take the battery out of the phone dry it on a towel and leave it for a few hours to dry out and it might just might be ok

I've dropped my mobile but not in the toilet but in a bath full of hot water!!!!!!

Still worked.... took it all apart and placed it into the airing cupboard and 24 hours later it worked!!!!!

My 8Mb flash drive went through the washing machine but after putting it out to dry it worked OK

yep, my mobile went through the washer a couple of yrs back, and my other half still uses it now....theres hope for you shell
