Default Performance Exhaust

Hi,
I've been reading that the M4 and Hindle systems give the best performance upgrade from stock and was wondering where to get them and roughly how much.
I don't mind importing from abroad but the only supplier I've been able to find is twinshack for the Hindle system and JHS for the M4 stuff.
Roughly how much have people payed and are the titanium midpipes for the m4 really worth going for?
Cheers
Dan

Yup, JHS are the only official importers of M4 stuff.

However it is absolutely superb!

I have the race system on my minitwin but I was lucky and found someone on fleabay selling it so I only paid £300.

They do pop up now and again.

I've got a full 2 into 1 high-level titanium race system for sale but it's for an SV1000. May be adaptable but the headers are bigger bore on the thou. PS, sounded amazing and I have a JHS dyno showing a BMC filter and M4 can giving an extra 10-12 (can't remember ewxact numbers) bhp with no other changes.

JHS in Bristol supply M4.

If you are going to go to extremes with the tuning (see signature) then I would say go for the M4, which is imported by JHS, if however you are gonna keep it quite sedate then the Hindle will do the job perfectly.

M4's work best with heavily tuned SV engines, what is it you are going to do tuning wise for your race bike?

well i'm converting a curvy to fuel injection and going to fit the pointies cams and maybe get it bored to 750 but it depends on how funds work and what the different racing classes allow.

Leo Vince have gained a stronger rep than M4 of late... Newer product, another wee step forward is all. M4 are very good though. Some say Arrow are best for a relatively stock bike.

Hindle are nothing special. But they're cheap

Ok, now we are on to something I know a lot about! If you are going down the 750 route it really isn't worth doing unless you are gonna go and get the bottom end done too. But this costs, a lot!!! Not only does it make the bike a lot more reliable (100% in my case) but the extra power a 750 bore can create can be unleashed properly!!! Without the bottom end mods the 750 kit is really disappointing! For this you will want the full engine works, breathing works, (see signature) and an M4 system

If you are going to stay sedate and go with the K3 cams then any system will do to be honest, the Hindle is well made and cheap which is ideal for a track bike!

As you would expect the fuel injection wouldn't determine which exhaust to go for.
