Default sv 650 copy i think

hi all, seen this and thaught (if no one has already seen it) looks like a sv650 v twin plant in that frame.

here is the link

http://www.hyosung.co.uk/detail.php?id=22#

so if this company can do trick usd forks and a full fairing at this price ... why cant suzuki

regards Bibio

There are some minor changes, but yes it is essentially an SV650 engine. Hyosung used to manufacture for Suzuki (and may still do).

I imagine the "trick" USD forks are no better than the forks on the SV (i.e. crap) but they do look better.

one of the mags tested a new hyosong recently gainst an aged sv an they still thought the sv had the edge. it the same for every thing you get what you pay for and i doubt very much it'll be up to suzuki std ie the bike but also it customer care and parts avaiblity.

This is right, was in Bike magazine. The aged SV was a curvey and they said it was superior to the Hyosung. So the Hyosung must be really, really bad

Quite an old bike that now, nothing new. The engine is a direct copy of the SV650 lump, it handles no better, and performs no better, and build quality is worse on this particular model.

Saw a review on Bikes Aloud 2 ages back,it was the Hyosung vs Suzuki sv.

The sv(pointy)won hands down in every department....apparently the hyosung paint is sprayed on with a hosepipe & the frame made of cheese......that's what they said anyway.
