Melandri to Kawasaki

Didn't see this one coming! Apparently Melandri has confirmed the move, though there will be an official announcement at Misano. Not sure if that is a great move, but given how he has (or hasn't! ) got on with the Duke this year, it couldn't get any worse really!

Guess this paves the way for Hayden to Ducati and Dovi to hop onto a factory Honda!

Haydon to Ducati...Dovi to HRC...Marco to Scot/San Carlo was my prediction, and has been for a while.

Will green suit Marco? I guess it can't be any worse than red.

Should be interesting. Especially with how the Kwak seems to be getting better and it sounds like they have an almost new bike in the pipeline. Saying that the last race isnt much of a bench mark as half the field had michelins... sigh.

Im not surprised to see Marco go green, as he didnt really have any other options did he? Whos making room for him at Kawasaki? Hopkins (yes he dropped off the pace at the end) and Westy had good rides at Brno!

But yeah the shuffle should now go, Haydon to Ducati, Dovi to HRC.

San Carlo = Grisini

My guess is that Westy might be the one to go to make room for Marco. On the whole his performance have been less impressive than Hopkins IMO.

His performance at Brno was seriously helped by Michelin not performing.


Other moves penciled in by the Eurosport commentators are...

Tony Elias to Santander Yamaha WSB, taking Corsers ride. Corser rumoured to be the second BWM rider alongside Xaus.

Nakano also rumoured to be heading WSB way.

Westy is heading to WSS with Kawasaki apparently..... Marco gets his ride

Yeah I would say that Melandri to Kawasaki is not bad for Melandri under the current curcumstances.

Maybe he wouldn't in better days but these ain't his best days!

I think Westy will be gone. I would have liked to see him do well but ain't that the way.

Also due to be announced today at 4pm is Pedrosa's possible switch to Bridgestone.

I got the impression that Elias was set to go to Kawasaki aswell, 3rd bike? Random BBC rumor... But going on his last few rides will Alice keep him?

Id say so! Man he is able to ride the bike now thats fairly obvious.
