Do em yourself. some strategically placed masking tape, and some thick paint stripper painted on and your well away. Get some elbow grease in with some wet n dry and then autosol and hey presto............

And yes I have done it myself too. got some pics somewhere but its a tad late...I'll post tomorrow if I remember...or even today

Thought I had some pics. Here we go.

Then tape up the parts you dont want stripping (or be very careful with the Nitromors) & like Dizzy says strip the paint off the wheel, buy some Autosol & very fine wet & dry & polish to your hearts content

Then paint the wheel & also laquer the polished bit because it goes to look like cr@p at the slightest hint of damp. & jobs done. easy really

And with the left over Autosol, you can polish your exhaust downpipe to make that look sweet as well

+1 to doing it yourself. but i wouldnt recommend laquering the whole wheel. with the back wheel i laquered the painted inner section, and left the rim as is, and the front i laqured the whole wheel. now the problem i have now is that the laquer has started to pit like the front forks do, after a year of doing the wheels. the rear, all i have to do is quickly go over with the autosol when i clean the bike and hey presto, job done. now ive got to go over the front wheel with wet and dry and take off the laquer on the polished section!

I have polished rims and forks on the black SV, which is why I did the yellow one. They didn't have laquer on them, and TBH its not much more hassle keeping them that way. So I didn't see the point laquering the yellow ones. I thought they may go like the original forks if I laquered em.
