Is rim tape chavvy?

Thinking about getting some rim tape for my sv. Its a blue pointy fully faired with silver wheels and i'd thought about a nice broad blue stripe?

two questions really,

1. is it going to be a good look? has anyone got photomograpical evidence?

2.where do you buy the stuff other than fleabay from some 8yr old millionare in his bedroom?

(i know that was really 3 questions but i think i got away with it!)

For what it's worth I don't like rim tape, it's the start of a downward spiral that takes in iridium screens, blue hoses and chavvy coloured anodised footrests along the way. Before you know it you're looking for a wall to park your bike in at 60mph just so you can go the whole hog and build a streetfighter

Paint it black, YKIMS.
