I'm after some advice or is that abuse, about the potential value of a set of yokes (with bearings etc).
I have a set sitting at home which I don't need. I was just going to keep them 'in case'. However seeing a "For Sale" thread for a yoke set for a curvey made me think they might have value. Ie selling them might pay for something shiney for the bike. So what might they be worth? I saw a set for a curvey advertised at £50 but that's all I have to go on. To the best of my knowledge they are 'good' (left over from a GSXR front end swap) from a relatively recent bike and not many '000 miles. (Ditto a front wheel spindle) TIA |

I'd rather sell them for a through the org even if it means getting a few quid less. I suspect I'd be better off waiting till next year now when demand is likely to go up again. |

Yolks arnt really the most common thing wanted for the sv nor any bike as they rarely get damaged/bent so ther will be no real rite/wrong time 2 sell them i no when i done my gsxr front end they didnt shift the quickest.

I guess I'm hoping the set is cheaper than dealer bought bearings and someone who likes to ride on teh back wheel is after some then! I don't really care how quick they go - just thought they were better put to use and some cash towards something else would be a bonus.

I put my Curvy ones up for £50 quid. Just a plucked-out-of-the sky figure but I'm in no hurry to sell them.
I'd have thought this was the time of year when people unfortunately bin their bikes on the slippery roads. However they don't seem very vunerable, so I may have mine for some years. ![]() |
