I do try and play but money/time/other things never permit for as much play time as what you have! (or seem to atleast ).

To be fair, it was gusty ... and the grass was too long ... it was hard to bully it off the ground i.e. for it to not to simply nose-over on takeoff ... 'rates' off, had to use full up elevator from the start and try and get it off the ground sharpish ...

Sadly the log grass caused problems on landing too ... as soon as the front wheels hit the grass ... game over ... flip! ... That is what caused the eventual broken tail

I did about 5 flights before the tail broke on a landing tip-over, but that was the only one that came out ...

I think I'll have another go ... this time instead of strapping the camera to the side, I'll strap it to the bottom pointing down ... turns out its the ground that is the most interesting!!

I also have a plane that is a 'trike' not a tail dragger ... that is prolly better for the longer grass as it can't nose-over on takeoff or landing ...

ahh i love it whe people stick cameras on planes

as a man once told me if don't break them your not flying them

any way i used to fly rc helicopters a lot more expensive to crash
