Default Loom replacement

Well the loom for the SV has arrived so I need to get at pulling the old one off and replacing it. Should be a interesting job me thinks, lol.
Any got any tips before I look at my manual and then get at it while making some obvious mistakes if only I'd asked?

My tip, get lots of coffee, cigarettes, some music to chill you out, and when your about to lose your rag think of something funny to relax you.

Contact cleaner all the plugs too, put back with some vaseline. Might as well start well with eliminating corrosion on connectors.

Also split some hosepipe and use that to protect chafing points.

I have a can of contact cleaner at home, so will get busy cleaning it up. I need to remove the old alarm connections that are in the loom to, so will take my time to give it all a nice clean.
