IMO, you don't. They either like you for the person you are, or they don't.

one of my mates was a virgin till he was 34, he's not ugly, quite intelligent and witty but women were just not attracted to him. its all about getting out and meeting as many as you can... |

Ignore them.
 Generally don't act interested. Then hit them with a french stick and ask them out. Works everytime.
