Prices have been dropping here in the US from 4 weeks ago at $4.47 USD per US gallon to now $2.25, don't know how long the trend will last but it sure is nice .....The economy is horrible and the stock market is in shambles and people are loosing their 401K savings like it was never there
![]() Have the prices been dropping in Europe? EssexDave informed me that he was paying upwards of $10.00 per US gallon...Europe certainly got the short end of the stick. |

I'm selling petrol for $1.99 (USD) per gallon!
At the highest was $3.89 per gallon. To sort it all that out in terms everyone can understand.... ( exchange rate 13 Nov. 2008 ) 1.99 USD per gallon = .30 GBP per liter (BanannaMan's Low Price!) ![]() 2.25 USD per gallon = .33 GBP per liter 3.89 USD per gallon = .58 GBP per liter 4.47 USD per gallon = .66 GBP per liter .95 GBP per liter = 6.39 USD per gallon 1.20 GBP per liter = 8.07 USD per gallon "Gas" in England refers to what Americans call LPgas or Propane. "Petrol" is the term used for what the US calls "gas" or "gasoline".

Our prices have been dropping yes but the price of energy which price is based on the cost of oil even though it bears no relation whatsoever has stayed high. Damn energy companies.

92.9p here. Definate drop. I notice the ****ers at the petrol stations on the motorway service stations haven't dropped their prices at all and it's close to £1.10 still.

So far I've seen 92.9 in Portsmouth and 95.9 cheapest (Old Street) in London.
