SV650 - it's a cracking engine!

Not used the SV for a couple of months until yesterday (Bought a Triumph Legend - 900 triple a few months back. Hey, I am allowed as over 40. just ).

Like being on the SV for the first time all over again and compared to the Triumph really pokey and free reving - albeit it is like comparing Apples and Oranges.

I had forgotten how high up the weight is for slow speed manouvering and the bars are now too low for my tastes ..........BUT I still love that engine and I really wish I had a decent can on the end to release some base. and some much higher bars.

I should really sell the SV though......but just have not got around to it - kinda regret not having got an SV1000, but I do much prefer raised handlebars. P/ex on a V Strom 650 or 1000 maybe? Must Google to see if one could get aftermarket noise for those


BTW interesting to see that the 2009 SV sport has dropped the red seat in favour of black
