Default GSXR fork and yoke dimensions

I've got a pair of 750 k6 forks that are absolutely mint. (want to use them as they are black rather than gold). I'd like to use a pair of k4/5 750 yokes but i'm unsure if they'll fit. The k6 fork is 50mm diameter for the top yoke and 53 or 54 for the bottom. Is there anyone out there who knows what the dimensions are for the earlier yokes. Ta Paul

GSXR 750 SRAD

Top Yoke - 50mm
Bottom Yoke - 54mm

GSXR 750 K early series

Bottom Yoke - 54mm

Cheers Dave,
Sounds like the yokes are the same. Recon I can get a k4/5 top and bottom yoke and then buy a new wheel (from Delkevic) and use that! Less hassle with the steering stops, ignition switch, etc.
Anyone know of any probs out there?

What model SV have you got again?

A Delkevic wheel is quite costly, you can find cheaper secondhand ones in great condition.

PS. like the signature.

I did PMSL when I read that thread! How you two doing? I'm still keeping this htread quiet from other half

Actually, I can't find much on fleabay, and nothing drastically cheaper...

I've got a pointy K3 in Blue, so the black forks will go better than the gold.

In that case yes, it should all fit together. Double check the disc sizes first, can't remember the diameters off of the top of my head, as you may need to space the callipers back or use the larger disc's.

You don't want SRAD yokes for the curvy. Yokes from the later gixxers will drop right in. See the link the greek boys signature.

Aye, we have corrected this now I know he has the Pointy but I will add in the 'K' model diameters to the previous post.

Should that 1mm make a difference? I would have thought that there would be enough play in the bottom yoke to take this into account.....
.... Of course I have been know to be wrong......
