I think it's a good idea. But......

Don't assume that everyone who steals a car, or money or commits fraud is 'scum'
We don't know there personal circumstances. The thief might have a toddler who needs an expensive medical treatment in a foreign country. They may be that desperate. It's unlikely I know, but it has happened before.

Mmm. How was it stolen? He must have left the keys in the ignition. No insurance pay out for him then.
The other thing is the pictures. That tartan trim is a bit weird ain't it. The pictures of the gear sticks are also both different.

All a bit weird eh?
Probably not clever to be posting your Mobile No all over the internet.

What??? Don't agree. For a kick off why would you have expensive medical treatment in a foreign country when the NHS will do it for free.
If you need money you get a job.
Nothing makes crime Justifiable.

Thief's are Scum.

I think the anniversay GTI has tartan trim at the MKI GTI's did. It would tie up with his explanation of it being rare as IIRC there arent that many of them about.

I suspect its stock pictures from the VW website he's used rather than his own car...

Quite frequently you see in the papers that people are raising money to go abroad for medical treatment that is not available on the NHS. It is usually a last resort. I haven't got any kids but I think that if I did, I would do anything that would possibly help if they were seriously ill, and that includes steal.

IF YOU ARE THE MAN WHO STOLE MY CAR, TRUST ME I WILL NOT STOP UNTILL I FIND YOU, I SAW YOU GET OUT OF A MAROON ALFA ROMEO AND YOU WENT INTO THE PETROL STAION TO USE THE TOILET AND THEN STOLE MY CAR, I HAVE A CLEAR VIEW OF YOUR FACE AND TRUST ME WHEN I TELL YOU I WILL FIND YOU NO MATTER WHAT IT TAKES.... I WILL POST YOUR PHOTO EVERYWHERE AND I WILL PAY TO PUT IT INTO THE NATIONAL NEWSPAPERS AND ALL OVER THE INTERNET WITH A REWARD, I WILL FIND YOU.
YOUR ONLY WAY OUT IS IF YOU RETURN THE CAR TO WHERE YOU STOLE IT FROM AND PUT THE KEYS IN THE PETROL STAION OR THROUGH ONE OF THE GARAGES LETTERBOX.
THE MONEY YOU WILL GET FOR THAT CAR WILL NOT BE WORTH THE TROUBLE YOU WILL GET INTO.

Is that how you would feel if you came out of the petrol station to find someone had nicked your bike?
