Well it looks like AR09 will be August 1st.
I'm getting married August 1st.

Question...

How do i phrase........ Would you mind if we moved the wedding back a week so i can go to AR09, dear.... in a way where i get to keep my teeth.

Answers on a postcard please.

seriously, what difference would a week make? Thats as long as you can get the venue, and reception moved

erm........ that`s a very difficult one. You could maybe try asking it in a text message from a safe distance? Could also try asking if she`s prepared to alter the venue of the reception so`s that we can all join in the celebrations

Do what my mate Iain did when it turned out his wedding was on the night of some football game... Call the venue, ask them to say it's double booked and can they reschedule for some other night. Nothing quite like getting a union of 2 souls off with a gigantic lie.
