Just realised.
Flicking throught the manual and ive just realised that whenever ive tightened my chain ive never loosened the brake torque arm. Whats the purpose of loosening it? And what exactly is it?

Don't worry about it, I never bother and haven't done so in over eight years.
It helps the calliper locate correctly, but to be honest it is attached to the axle/spindle and does the job by itself. |
