What experience have you got???
Another easy way in is working on Cruise ships. With Cruise ships there is a company that the ships employ who install the systems and provide 'engineers'. Not sure who to contact at Butlins but I could get you the name of the Cruise ship co.

Check their website for vacancies, send your CV in, look on their website for names/contacts and call them in person to ask for work or where they recruit from?

the experience i have is running my own mobile discos and lighting shows for a good few years. what is the cruise ship co. u know? |

Well you have more qualifications than most of the people working those jobs
![]() I will have to find out the co name. A mate of mine gets sent out to the cruise ships when they have issues with their system and 9/10 the on board 'engineers' are useless. He once got sent to brazil for a week to replace an NL4 cable!!! Have you registered to www.prosoundweb.com forums?? Its a good resource to learn from but its majorly Yankee dominated and people are very quick to denounce anything you say (pretty much like the industry in real life) but it can be a good read.
