Help! What years are pointies, and does the crank swap?
wat year do the pointys start at and do u no if u can fit a crank from a pointy to a cury 2000 sv650

The first pointies are 2003 model.
The pointies definately use different conrods (lighter) and different casings. You can however fit a pointy engine into the curvy frame (the changes to casings are internal)

cranks are interchangeable.
and pretty much all internal parts. |
