Hi All,
As the title suggests I am looking for information on bolt kits/bolt sizes, I have tried looking through the other posts on here but cant see anything, sorry if I have missed a previous posting. I have recently purchased a 2002 SV650S in Yellow that was supplied with an After-market lower fairing but no bolts. Now I have been able to clean and repair some parts of the bike, I want to fit the fairing to complete her ready for the open road. If anyone has any info / advice then please let me know. Thanks for your time and Happy New Year Mick - Staffordshire Prev - Honda CG125 Current - Suzuki 2002 K2 SV650S in Yellow |

Hi and welcome....
I bought a fitting kit for pointy lower fairings last week - £42.09... pretty good as many on here will testify they are normally around £115. I assume your bike is a curvy, but might be worth giving these guys a try..... Crescent Suzuki... 02380 405156 (Southampton) |

Have a search through Google images for "SV650 lower fairing" and see which one matches yours best, or post a picture on here and we should be able to tell you. Quote:

Thanks mate, thats cleared that up, its a curvy SV. I am going to do some pictures of my bike and fairing but for now I've looked through google/yahoo images and I think this is as close as I can get to mine. Pennies are a little tight this time of year so I was hoping to be able to go to a local nut and bolt stockist to get the offending items. Is there much chance of success or am I just pi**ing in the wind?

Hi Mick,
Right the image above is of the official Suzuki lower fairings. You will need brackets as well as bolts to fit a lower fairing, do you have the brackets? The full kit is very cheap for a Curvy, about £20 delivered from Robinson's. http://www.robinsonsfoundry.co.uk/sh...3-430-010.html Last edited by Dangerous Dave; 29-12-08 at 07:25 PM. Dave,
I have no brackets, nothing supplied but the 2 fairings. I'm going to put some pictures on here 2morrow to confirm if I have got the right ones or not. A friend of a friend of a friend said they were not official suzuki fairings but its always best to get a second opinion right. Anyways, thanks for your help so far mate. |

These are the next two popular versions, both aftermarket accessories...
Powerbronze ![]() Skidmarx (very similar) ![]() Hope it helps you identify them a little easier, you will need brackets though. |

Some pictures attached. Hope someone can identify what type of lower fairing they are and how to attach them.
Thanks Mick |
