Default Working Between Xmas & New Year???

Hiya All

Following the thread about working on Xmas Eve, who is working these three days then????

I unfortunately am, whilst Lily is at home in bed......sucks......what makes it worse is that all my project work requires other peeps to be here for me to gleam knowledge from and have meetings with. In the words of my boss however.....

"As you are the only one in as you have no holiday left, I need you to be the point of contact for the team, if anyone asks anything you can't help with, can you take notes and we can chat when we are all back".

IE - I'm a glorified chuffing secretary for three days!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr......

I wanna go home and play on my new PS3. Anyways.....nuff ranting, just curious to see who is in and who is not for these three glorious days.

Drew

DC - I'm sitting at my desk right now, most of my team are in too, getting away from their families and playing the Wii on our 42" Plasma.

I was the only bike on the road too this morning......

I'm working New Year's Eve, it doesn't bother me really but the wife is a little ****ed as this is the second year running that we can't join our friends to party. Told her she could go regardless but she doesn't feel it's right. I hate this time of the year.

I'm in. Although only for 2 out of the 3 days.

Not to bothered to be honest. It's nice and quiet this time of year. Means I can catch up on stuff that has been missed in the last month or so. I have an arrangement with the other person who works in my office, we alternate xmas breaks, it's my turn this year. However, he only had 2 days holiday left to cover the 3 days, and being the evil boss I am, I'm making him come in on New Years Eve

I'm in and in a similar position DC... Most of my project team are out or the operations folk are not in.

It's actually quite nice as I'm able to catch-up on a few things.
