Default Quick easy food in Russell Square...

I'm back working in central london again (staying in russell square) and I've got a 5.30am start tomorrow. Normally me and the other technician head out to the italian restaurant Il fornello for some snaffle and a beer or two but neither of us can be arshed and have parted for the night.

I'm not in the mood for yet another sandwich, so can anyone give me any idea's? Something fast and with no talking to anyone cause I'm knackered and feeling slightly ill...

thanks in advance, paul the northerner

From where you are soho isn't far too walk, or jump on the tube if you want, there is kebab shop that we go too at soho meets. They make nice chicekn/lamb wraps for £4.50.

Its just off from the upper right hand side of Firth St if your stood at Cafe Nero its just off to the right hand side on the oppsoite of the road. Dpes that make sense?

If not or not wanting that then are loads of places in soho to get good food, cheap.

eyup guys... noisy sirens and busses on the square are the ultimate cure for sleepiness I forgot to bring my toothpaste with me lol. The water was nice but I'm pishing like a racehorse now .

only in the london until wednesday I'm afraid, but it turns out I'm going to have to come back down south on saturday to pick up an engine I won on ebay (it's in reading = £26 for a 1.8 zetec engine!)...

Maybe another time! Do you guys meet up every friday or just the last friday of the month? We do bugger all through the winter in the pennine massive...

I might pop down just for one of your meets if that's the way you roll

idea: the north south exchange program? a few of us northerners could pop down for a weekend in london and start off by joining the soho crew maybe... it'll probably just end up being me but never mind eh. As for you lot coming north, bring your scarves and gloves, it'll be freezing
