If you like blues n good music, you've just missed a great Seasick Steve docu, but if you turn on now hes on in Reading Festival

This bloke is absolute class. And the rest of the night looks brilliant too

Saw him Summer 2007 at Cambridge Folk festival. His style, skill and bluesman approach just blew my socks off.

But this is the second thread that's mentioned a Folk festival today - on a BIKE site!!! eeek

hey, I'm not in the least bit embarrassed about the styles of music I like. Seasick Steve absolutely rocks.
However I am embarrassed about the fact that I fell upon him watching Jools Hollands Hootanany 2007

I've been watching this so far...

I saw him at the Royal Albert Hall, along with Amy Lavere supporting. I recall he was drinking straight out of a bottle of whisky for most of the set.

I like his approach to the guitar (just play the damned thing without being too technical about it) , with his own rhythm section (his foot)...now where did I put my slide...

Yep, I was recently handed a guitar at a party. So I just started playing bluesy stuff (that's all i really play unless i go into 60's rock even then its more blues based).

I think the quote was "He's playing the bloody blues, How old is he?"

I got the chance to see B.B King last year too, that was awesome.

My other half saw James brown in Leeds before he died....he rocked.

I love playing the blues on my guitar. I like it even better when an old friend comes round for a jam
