Just ask TimInBelgium - he's worn his own personal groove in it!

yup

twice

the first time i was on an old £700 fireblade, and loved it, the 2nd time i was on my new bike, and i did not enjoy it as much, i think i was a bit scared of comming off? i dont realy know... seeing a brand new blade upside down at the side of the track did not help,

but i think it has to be done, at least once.

twas about £15 a lap

but the roads around the ring were better than the actual track, (IMO)

but as above........ tim practicly lives there

Yup I have done it on my Zed - one thing I would watch out for is fast approaching locals (car and bike) - not that you should ride looking in your mirrors but there are a lot of very quick machines out there who try and get past you any which way.

Go for it though - its an awesome experience!

It's not at all like a track day. But it is an excellent experience if you go with someone who knows the track. There's no chance of learning it.
You do need to ride keeping a eye in your mirrors for faster cars behind you. (You don't need to just worry about the cost of repairs to your bike if you crash you have to pay for the track repairs, closure & recovery costs - so don't crash.
