Default Haggis

Went out on Saturday night to celebrate Burns night in a mate's local. Here's a pic, not a great one I know

We were told by the barmaid that the haggis on the platter apparently managed to feed everyone in the pub with some left over. I'm not convinced though! There must have been over 20 eating and they certainly weren't stingy with the portions! Not actually managed to try haggis before was very nice but very filling, couldn't eat loads!

Was a great night all in all, the fella there in full Scottish attire played the bagpipes every now and again throughout the evening and there was a bit of a ceremony with the slicing of the haggis and the bagpiper reciting a bit of poetry.

So anyone else attend a Burns night celebration? Or have you never heard of it

P.S. Mods feel free to move this to the photo section, wasn't too sure where to put it

Lungs, heart and liver according to wiki, probably won't eat it again lol! T'was just like a better version of corned beef in my book! Very similar to black pudding though in texture.

So you gonna try it PS?
