I'd heard that motosliders were better than R&G after searching some threads. First off, can i confirm that's right? Secondly, is it better to buy from SVracing (ebay) or direct? (i think i read direct is poo... and i don't like the look of their lacklustre website!) Thirdly... good price? I'm in the process of killing my paypacket off to get the essentials for my bike, which i think include a fenda extenda and crash thingies. Thanks in adv. for your help! ![]() |

Both Nate at Motosliders and Blair at SV Racing Parts have a great repuation and customer service, I couldn't pick one over the other.
Motosliders are the crash bungs to get, which ever model SV you have. The are cheaper (even when shipped from the US), the do not have a design flaw, and there are no stories of Motosliders failing (unlike its UK rivals). A crash bung will not stop all damage, but 90% of accidents I would say that a decent crash bung had kept the repair costs down and possibly saved a few write offs. |

I've been planning to do exactly the same thing for the same reasons. What does the Org think of the swingarm sliders: is it worth getting them at the same time as the frame sliders?

I ordered my set day beforeyesterday. At the current exchange rate plus paypal exhange charge it came to 99.99 (who'd have thunk it)
The main site is out of stock so I got mine through SVracing.. 5 bucks more expensive overall I think... crappy exchange rate atm isnt helping things. So far service is great (nice little email confirming order and asking for a response when they arrive) Will keep you updated as and when Rob |

Sweet. I e-mailed svracing on ebay because i wanted to know the shipping charge. Considering the part is 69.95, about 48 quid, i will be surprised to see the total come to 100 beautiful pounds. Hopefully he'll e-mail back, it's been a day now.
Anyone got any experience of carriage charges? |

Hm, 30 dollars... but i bought frame&swingarm sliders. £96. Paid straight through paypal, ops no feedback :P Whatever, will save me a lot of money if something happens. Blair's customer service is really quite good, nice guy, i'll just hope they arrive now.
