Hi folks,
Here's an idea I've been toying with and if my bike doesn't sell I think i'll possibly do this - putting clip-ons onto an unfaired SV to make it more of a cafe racer style ride? So is it as easy as top yoke and the clip ons? Gav |

Top yoke and Bottom yoke if you are going to take them off an SV650S , I am sure you need both as the holes for the stanchions are in slightly different places or something like that , somebody will be along to correct this soon enough

Doesn't your clocks attach to your top yoke?
because they don't on a faired |

I'm sure you need to swap your top yoke to a faired one which is going to be a pain in the ass

Nah. Leave it all alone but just put the clipons on. The clipons do not need to touch the top yoke.
Only problem you might have is the headlight brackets. Might need to move them down and get rid of bottom headlight mounting to make room for clipons at top.

ah yes - just had a look - the headlight bracket is going to be an issue - but I could plasma-cut a recess in that
so other problems we think are the clocks mounting to the top yoke - but that could be mounted to the eyelet on the front of the head-tube/stock and the yokes being a different off-set? |

What year bike?
curvy S and N yokes are same offset AFAIK... but you don't need to change yokes.

its the 05 for sale in the selling section - i'll only do it if it doesn't sell really so won't buy anything just yet.
I'm hoping it will sell as I really want a minitwin race bike!! |
