Default A quarter of UK gov. databases are illegal

Well, didn't we already know that? The interesting bit for me is this...

Quote:
Peers on the Lords constitution committee warned last month that electronic surveillance and collection of personal data had become "pervasive" in British society and threatened to undermine democracy.

Of course they are..... "threatened to undermine democracy" thats the whole point, they ie the people at the top in charge and not the govrnment want to control us.

I can never remeber but isn't something like if you go through London you are on camera 100-200 times just in one day Why does that need to happen?

Have you noticed that the terror laws are being revised again, but for for whom is that benfit?
The whole thing is about the gradual erison of our civil libaties and rights, until we have none, at point that we will be chipped and everything we do will be watched. Its here now, I have been offered that chip with my credit card.........

The media is being used to control and brain wash, who do you think owns the media? Why do you think there is mass shift into relaity TV programs on ITV?? Do you actually think they are real? Bear in mind you can take any image, change it and you will never know.

They shouldn't get rid of the "illegal" databases.

Just get rid of the people behind them

THEN get rid of the databases.

Have you ever seen american media? Sit and watch their news for an hour, you will get the point.

For example Rupert Murdok, owns SKY, FOX and several of the newspapers I'm sure the Sun is included in that, the most read/cirulated newspaper here. He often goes to see Leaders of countries....

When Labour came to power in 97, one of the headlines was "it was the Sun that won it"

Then you look at how Bush came to power......Fox news said that he had won Flodria, its no concidence that a member of the Bush family works/controls that news output is it? So there again is example of the media was used to control.

What did the Americans do about it? Sweet FA. That is one of the ways we have got to where we are now.

This whole concept is nothing new and has been going on for ages.

I wrote my degree project on, how the media is used to control people/socierty and poltics in the media and how it is used by government as a form of control.

With apologies to victims & family and the poor coppers who had to do the dirty deed.

Who are the people at the top then, who are really in charge??

Again, do you have ideas on who it will benefit?

I don't disagree with what you are saying, just wondered what your thoughts on the detail of this is??

Cheers

The people at the top who don't lift a finger, and live the life of luxury whilst preaching to us about how hard work is a virtue.

As to who it would benefit, it benefits the government (by which I'd include 'the authorities'). They're not interested in improving any standard of life for us. They simply want to line their own pockets.

There's no conspiracy at all; our government are too useless to even vaguely hide their pathetic selfish attitudes.
