Hi All,
Decided to sell the leathers I recently won on eBay as they don't fit...basically too short in the leg and constricting my knee when riding. (I'm about 6'4"ish so not that the leathers themselves are abnormally short or anything!) Size 46 UK 56 Euro (both top and bottoms have same sizing tag inside) The leathers have apparantly been worn only a handfull of times by the previous owner which I believe as they have no real marking or anything. All seems to be in tact and clean. I've only worn them for 5 mins on the bike, and about an hour in the house seeing if they would stretch before coming to the conclusion that they were too small! Looking to get what I paid for them. £170 incl postage (to mainland UK - not to the outer hebrides etc where it costs more!) £155 if collected If no one wants within the next couple of days I shall stick on eBay! Photographs below are the ones which were on the eBay listing. Not the greatest pictures. Can provide more if necessary. |

dainese must be abnormal then I'm sure my alpine stars are size 54 and I'm just over 6ft1..
Tazdaz, with your height I'd guess the best option would be custom made.

They were basically just too tight on the thigh (I do a lot of cycling) and too short in the leg. I could get into them but when bending my legs it was really tight on my knees and was tight on my back where because the trousers were too short it was pulling the jacket down! (if this makes sense)
I wouldn't like to pass judgement on whether they would fit you or not pencil shavings. I have a pair of buffalo leathers which are also 56 euro and they are too big so the sizing between brands seems to vary widely. I know I won't be buying any gear again without trying them on! Custom are bloody expensive! Maybe next summer! The mother has put them on fleabay now so this thread can now be closed! |
