Idle Banter For non SV and non bike related chat (and the odd bit of humour - but if any post isn't suitable it'll get deleted real quick).
There's also a "U" rating so please respect this. Newbies can also say "hello" here too.

Default Newie here saying. "Hello"

Hello all,
Just posted in the "SELKENT" Also as I'm from Sunny Kent.

New to the forums and also new to biking, only passed end of last year and got my SV650 “Pointy” two weeks ago.

Yes I’ve already managed to throw myself off of it due to lack of experience in the wet on a diesel spill at slow speeds. Just trying to get it all fixed up, then I can book myself one of them bike safe courses, if they're any good. Anyone think they're worth doing?

Hope you're all having a good day!

See you guys & girls around.

Its rubbish when you drop a bike.....I had an IMMACULATE fully faired bandit and dropped it TWICE.......

So then I got my SV...only been out on it twice and so far so good...but has totally knocked my confidence and was on the verge of selling it for a while there cos I was scared of it.
