Default Insurance Admin Charge?

...tell me... have you heard the like..
i am with Bennets and didnt change my insurance address, seeing recent thread where a fellow orger had his insurance voided as a result kicked my furry ar$e into gear, so i ring and tell them of a change of address fine then told them about mods (end can, plastics etc) then she says thats fine, the only increase is a 25 admin charge for changing address and posting out new policy (bit of a4)....

what a rip off....

Normal.....and for all that I dont thinks its bad.......someone has to make a note of all those changes, change the paperwork and post out a new certificate. Probably 2 hrs works.

People dont work for free you know lol

That's why I'm with Ebike - you make the changes whenever you want - the paperwork arrives the next day - costs nowt - The days of brokers who rip you off are surely numbered.

MCE charged me £35.00 for changing my address, my policy was only £70.00 for the year.

Also charged £35.00 to terrminate my policy, 3 months in, when i got my SV, They wanted £250.00 to continue.

Got fully comp for £147.00 from dial direct.
