Default Just bought scrubs off ebay. . . good price i think :S

I've just bought a 120/70 and 2 160/60's Pirelli Supercorsas and 120/70 and 160/60 D209s off ebay for £170 delivered.

Is that a good price ? and i know about the whole upsizing of the front but i think i'll prefer it as i'd like to try the different front tyre as i've got the springs and the front feels planted so i figured to save some money i'd go for scrubs.

Hopefully i'll see loads of miles out of these as i've blown my BT021 budget on these tyres.

Anyone got any ideas on the D209's as i've got a corsa scrub on the back and got 1500 out of it and i'd say there's another 1l-1.5k out of it.

D209 is the Qualifier am I right?

Expect maybe 4500 from a new one so base it around that..

my mileage is about 5k a year so hopefully these tyres will last me 2 years. My Supercorsa would of lasted me a lot longer but it's squared like no tomorrow as i've been using it for work purposes up and down the M4. grrr but at least the mileage at 40p a mile make up for it.

The scrubs have just turned up. Looks like i've got a bargain.

Cool. You fit them yourself?

Good luck getting 2k out of a supercorsa, mine lasted less than 1000. Was a sticky 1000, though pretty dead in the rain and cold.

Yep, but they are cheaper than buying other sticky tyres

my supercorsa on the back has seen 1700 miles and is just starting to square off now. Grippy as in the dry, been quite happy with it tbh. I'll squeeze hopefuly another 500-1k out of it.

I'm paying £15 to get the front + rear swapped. But hopefully won't be until end of june.

And my corsa's only squared due to 400 Motorway miles in the past 3 weeks. grrrr.
