Default CBT in Newbury/Thatcham

Can anyone recommend a place that does CBT in the Newbury/Thatcham area?

I know some places in Reading that are ok, but looking for something more local to a new colleague.

thanks

A guy at my work recently did his CBT/DAS with Bike2Bike: http://www.bike2bike.net

Old thread I know, but Bike2bike are crap. I contacted him several times, never picked up.. left a message, never replied, even to this day. Emailed, never replied.

I did both my CBT and my instruction for my full test with Lightning in Reading and had no problems, guys were friendly enough and what's more, they got back to you!!

Catch a train from Thatcham to Reading and it's all of a 10 minute walk to the Rivermead car park.

Thanks, that does seem to be my conclusion having listened to his conversations when trying to book it.
I also used Lightning and I found them to be fine, so I'll suggest he tries them.

He's very keen on getting a GSX-R 1000 as his first bike (he's 24), so I think I'll need to work on that as well...

Tell him to get a GXR600 unless he wants to wreck it within the month.

Why? It sounds like his has impeccable taste.

If you want to dissuade him, suggest he gets a few insurance quotes. That should do it.

I used bike2bike for both my CBT and full licence with no problems. Very nice chaps!
