Default High level cans

I have a Blue flame evo 3 on my k3 650s i quite fancied making it a high level jobby but blueflame want 90 quid plus postage for a highlevel "kit".

Does anyone know what would be included in the kit? i assumed i just needed the link pipe?

Anyone reckon i could get one fabricated cheaper?

cheers everyone

Mick

Ask the guy at Beowulf. He does made to measure AFAIK.
We'll be going to him when we get new link pipes for the Raptor. At the moment the link pipes are for a TLR, and are a bit errrrr loose!.

Just remember if you go hi level, you'll also need to sort out the pillion pegs with spacers. Or do what I have, and don't take pillions

It'll just be the link pipe and clamps I suspect

I dont know if they sorted the issue, but watch out with blue flame as they had a habbit of sending out the wrong link pipes for high level cans at one point and they stuck out at funny angles.

Price seems about comparable to what we paid for a new Link pipe for the high level remus on Liz's K5 SVS.

Thanks guys i dont take pillions so would'nt mind losing the pegs

I believe i seen the posts on here with the dodgy linkpipes sticking out to the side i'll have a ring around and see what people suggest.

Can i make the clamp i have now work or is it completely different ( not sure how it fits to the rear peg mount etc

many thanks

Mick

I bought hi-level pipe from Micron. Exhaust minus a can was £100 and fitted my CCC can to it lovely. They include spares + bolts for the rear footset too.

My blue flame isnt at a funny angle, tbh its the only place i like a can on the SV (unless its a stubby) but the bracket uses the pillion footrest mounting point and therefore acts as a spacer.

Happy to be of service

You can buy the can on Banditmania's site.

If you do buy the pipe and/or can stick some pics or a video of it up as I am thinking of getting the same myself when I have a bit of spare cash.

I am not too sure about it though, looks from the pics on ebay that it sticks out too much over the swingarm, want to see more pics from other angles.

I thought that when i looked at the pics it does seem to stick out quite far although it says in the description that it hugs the side of the bike, it would be handy to see a pic of the bike from behind
