Default Plate Sizes & MOTs

I have to get an MOT done for the first time on my EXC greenlaner. I need a new plate as mine is smashed and hanging on by a screw. Should i get the standard size or are small plates normally accepted on an MOT?

I put a standard sized one on, but only because I needed somewhere to stick the reflector as the R & G tailtidy on my GSXR doesnt have space for a reflector.

I got mine from Halfords £11.99 job jobbed need your V5 and some proof of ID though.

I have a full size one on the DRZ with a stick on reflector. The plate is held on by stainless bolts rather than plastic ones. Went through MOT no problem. Your mileage may vary
