Default Replace the "SV650N" radiator with what?

Hi, guys...
Two days ago in one right turn, surprisely i go straight to the bushes - damn physics
I've got dislocated ankle and little fracture to my thumb on the right leg.
The bike is O'k - broken right side indicator, front brake lever, crooked handlebar and some scratches on the exhaust can - noting scary - i already order the stuff and clean the bike.
Now the serious problem - water radiator leaks
Two days ago it was only little crooked - now leaks...
Firs of all i can't find the radiator in Bulgaria, because the "SV" model is one in a thousand.
Then i look up on E-bay.... Jesus - £200... for used
I don't have it...
I can't understand, why the Bandit, the Busa, the GSXR used radiators cost £100 and the "SV" radiator cost £200
Can i replace the original radiator with some cheaper model without engine overheating?
May be from Curvy ot SV1000, or Hornet, ot someting else with similar mounting brackets, hoses....?!

Thanks in advance and regards!!!

an S model SV rad will go on an N. The only difference is that there are some small brackets where the fairing bolts onto the rad. Theres plenty of people who have put an S rad on an N. They are easier and cheaper to find too.

O'k than, is there a problem with "SV1000S" radiator on "SV650N", because the fan on the big engine radiator is left sided?
The hoses and brackets are O'k.

The only problem with putting an S rad on a naked is that you can't fit a rad cover to protect it. I found that when I bought my SV400, it was originally an S but has had the plastics taken off and I now have a rad cover that doesn't fit my rad

I still don't bought the radiator cover anyway, so that's not the problem.
I prefer a solid radiator without cover instead of leaking one.

Old boy who'd been spannering bikes professionally for decades advised me, "a radiator is a radiator". If you can securely physically attach it without it leaking coolant and it's roughly the same size, I'd quite happily run a radiator from another bike. Fans come into the equation too, but it might be possible to fit the original fan to a subsequently bought radiator.

EDIT: Incidentally, getting a radiator repaired can often be much cheaper than a replacement. Get it off the bike and search yellow pages for anywhere that'll repair radiators. Doesn't even need to be somewhere that specialises in automotive radiators...

My radiator was leaking too, and the bracket that bolts it to the front cylinder broke off. I just JB welded the bracket back on and used the same stuff to patch the hole. Just gotta be sure to drain the fluid first and let it fully cure before you refill it.

Let me know if you find a replacement that looks good (maybe a little less wide, too) b/c I'd probably get one too.

Guys, i just bought a radiator from old "SV650" - £90 shipped to Bulgaria.
Will remake the mounting brackets and the fan brackets to fit on the bike and to use my original fan and horn, which (i hope) will cost me max £20.
I'll post pics when the change is over.
Wish me luck
