Default Buying a new bike

When people have bought a new bike is the first service normally included? Reason being I'm looking at getting a new GSXR that has a fairly good kit deal on it but theres no room for negotiation. Anyone know the rough price of a first service???

Cheers,
Andy

Do you mean the 600 mile service? I think that is normally 'free' with you just paying for parts (oil + filter). You could just call the dealer to confirm though

Ist service is usually around the 600 mile mark and usually the labour is free, you just pay for the oil and filter, so about £30 ish

Oh and if you are insuring Fully Comp (which I assume you are) make sure you gove the Dealer an extra £300 for GAP insurance.

Came in handy with my SV.....

You only need gap insurance if buying on finance. It is to cover any difference between what the bike is worth and any outstanding finance.

That's probably the most common use but you can actually get a couple of other varieties, one of which you can use to cover the difference between what you paid & what you got back regardless of finance quite handy but I can't really say that as I never got it!
