Default 1st Half Decent Trip On Bike

On Monday i'll be doing my first attempt at some decent range on the bike. I am going from Chesterfield to Whitby with some guys I know.

It's about 100 miles each way. Is there anything I should take into consideration which will be different to my normal 40 mile weekend runabout?

Anything extra I should take with me other than cash?

Cheers Guys and Gals

No different to your 40 mile runabout except more miles. You don't need anything else than what you normally take with you.
Jeez 40 miles a weekend? That must give you about half an hour on the bike

Your nether regions may be telling you it's time to get off and stretch by then but otherwise it will be fine.

Commute here is about 10 miles. Whenever I go out for a ride I normally do 80 miles at least... can't do any less than that!

There is no difference to riding 100 miles than there is 40..

I'd say just keep the usual tools under your seat, usual checks before you go and don't worry about things. Have fun.

Go from Whitby down to Scarborough - only 20miles and a very nice road indeed!
