Default reassurance

hey guys

I'm after a bit of reassurance - my and my girl are heading for a tour of britain tomorrow for about 2 weeks all in. We have loaded the bike up with our gear - tent, sleeping bags, mats, very small stove etc. We have a rack for tent, sleeping bags, mats & they are in dry bags. We have oxford panniers for our clothes. We have tried to pack light!!! We have a tank bag with chargers etc for phones, spare bungees etc and we have a rucksack with 2 fleeces, waterproofs and first aid kit in it.

The question is... will the SV cope with all that and me and my girl? We tried a mini run with most of the stuff and it felt fine - but after loading everything the doubts are creeping in lol

Any advice? Or am I being stupid for worrying!?

It'll cope just fine, dont worry about it and enjoy your trip

Yorkie Chris and MYC are doing your trip in reverse. They seem to have no problem. We did a lot of touring on our Sv but didn't camp so can't comment.

Have you used all the room under the seats? Might get your chargers or first aid kit (in seperate pieces if need be) under there. We only need one charger as both our phones are Nokia. Make sure your rack is really secure. If it's a Renntec, regularly check and tighten the two bolts holding it on.

Anyway enjoy your trip it sounds really fun I hope you get some nice weather!!
