Default Delkevic Exhausts sv650s 2003

Anyone ever had one of these and are they any good, Seen them at a reasonable price but are they cheap enough for a reason ie quality? Any advice appreciated

I ordered one yeserday for my '99 bike. From what I've read they seem to be as good as other cheapish brands (not received it yet though to get an idea).

I'm a bit unsure now whether I actually want to start hacking my original off just to make the bike sound louder though ?

I wonder what sort of percentage of SV owners actually change the can?, and prefer it?

The SV sounds SOOO much better with an aftermarket can.

Yeah probably will sound better. After having a slightly louder exhaust on my car though it got on my nerves......there again it didn't have a v-twin .

Sorry to hijack the thread but I've received my delkevic stubby exhaust today but I'm worried about where to make the cut........it doesn't look like it will line up properly??

It's a stubby exhaust so I'm wondering whether the tip of the exhaust should be in the same place as the original .......or the front bit of the can, any help would be appreciated!

Apparently the one I've bought will fit all models? Does that sound right? Sorry for all the questions!

Big thing about it on the SVRider.com website. They love them over in the states.

From what i can remember from reading the thread you cut 2 inches up from the weld.

As to fitting all models yep that's true too.

Can any one over here tell me the diameter of the link pipe which fits over the original system. For £100 i fancy having one for my Gladie. For ref the size of the pipe coming out of the cat is 41mm
