Default Front sprocket

I have just fitted a 16 tooth front sprocket on my K7, what a difference it makes. I now find it much smoother at cruising speeds and it seems much more relaxed. Try it, they only cost a tenner. you will like it.

Isn't 4500 at 60 relaxed enough? What's it pulling now?

I still miss 75mph in 1st that you get from most big capacity IL4's

I am off to tour Italy in a few weeks so i fitted the 16 tooth sprocket to make the long haul down there a bit more relaxed. It still pulls well enough to make it enjoyable. I fitted a 14 tooth for the TT, it was in the red in top gear on the run down to brandish.

true, 14 tooth front is fun around town, but I think for my next set I'll go naked ratios, one extra tooth on the back
