Default Remember me?

Didn't realise it had been so long since I last checked in here ( nearly 2 years!!). I've now been living in Hungary for a year and love it.
Sv went some time ago, then came a TDM850, then an fzrsomethingorother, then a Ducati 900ss, then an MZ etz 125. Still got the Duc and MZ. Rode to Hungary on the TDM 2 years ago, Erika hated every second of it so I sold it here and flew home. Bought the Ducati to sell over here but still got it as no-one's got any money any more. Bought the MZ to potter about on but quite like it as it's so basic and cheap to run but a lot of fun.
Trying to start a small business renting our cottage out and arranging trips and tours for walkers, anglers, hunters. Also wine tasting, traditional craft days and sight seeing.
Now going to have a look around here to see who's still about.
I still think I've been lurking here longer than anyone else as I discovered this site just before I bought my sv in April 1999.
Cheers,
Paul.

yeh I remember u as well...been away a long time myself...workin n everythin....got rid of my Sv a couple of years back and had a GSXr 750 and a Bandit 12... The bandit has been heavily modified and has recently blown up....not fully checked the engine but brief inspection shows. 6 out of 8 inlet cam followers snapped.
Anyway i'm toying with the ideaof gettin an SV as a fun, RELIABLE run about...

I can't believe I was that close to you a few weeks back Paul, did a batch of training sessions in the czech republic, slovakia and austria! slovakia was great scenery & roads getting between venues!
Saw lots of skoda's but not many bikes.

keep in touch bud, all the best to you & Erika.

Yep, I remember some of you
Dave... so close and yet so far lol. I was just round the corner from you today at Myerscough college seeing my accountant but on a real mission time-wise.
Mark...yeah, yeah, yeah, promises, promises
Maybe I'll see some of you out in Hungary at some point....check the website and then knock a bit more off my already ridiculously cheap prices. If riding over maybe you can see if you can keep up with me in the twisties on my MZ

Hiya Skip.. yeh i remember that it was a good day...
Since then I have no end of trouble with the Bandit....I have still got it but loads done to it...6" over swingarm, usd forks, digital speedo, different lights, exhaust, carbs etc etc....
Had a 1216 kit and gsxr cams fitted last year....but it has never run right since....finally gave up the ghost big time last week, so its got a standard bandit motor in again now...
How do you like your Blackbird....they are a deceptively quick motor...

Blimey - in the 10s now then I bet!

Still undecided on the Blackbird - I think its too fast and heavy to fully enjoy on the road to be honest.
