I wonder how they come to these conclusions. Is a dangerous road classifed as such when loads of pilliocks crash thier bikes because they think they are valantino rossi?

IIRC Eurorap is a risk assessment program which looks at the combination of road design, street furniture and speed limits to calculate a risk level for roads. So the listed roads probably combine high speed limits, blind bends, poor junction design and dangerous runoff areas to get maximum points.

I think they would get more publicity if they assigned the risk levels more memorable titles. Maybe starting with "Harmless" then "Mostly Harmless" right through to "Dangerous" and "Deadly".

apparently so. I'm still suprised the north circular road isn't on there, I've seen plenty of accidents in the past few months involving bikes.

I want to know what criteria they used as well. Highest number of accidents/fatalities or some complex forumla that has no bearing on anything. (One person crashed and died on road Y that has never had a fatality before, thats an infinte % increase, this is the most dangerous road in the world)!
