yeh saw that post. VW parts are fairly cheap and easy to come by tho so you shouldnt find that too hard to sort out. I hope.
Good thing you know a decent mechanic tho eh?

yea...but thats a 100 miles journey!
so its beter if we can find someone local luckily, the husband of a friend of maria;s mum is a VW mechanic, so we might ask him to come round and see if he can part with some wisdom and knowledge |

he's a very good bloke and very cheap too but i have to introduce you to him otherwise he'll charge you whatever he thinks you'll pay.
i took a pair of suspension arem to him to fit to a car years back and he only charged me £40 to do it all and it took him the best part of a day.
