Default Private car parks - teaching basics

Kayla is thinking of putting in for her bike test. If I was to ride a bike down to a retail car park that all the shops are closed so after 8ish and then let her ride the bike, is there any problems with that with insurance etc? Of course if she went through a shop window I suppose there could be a problem, but, that aside, is it okay?

It's only so she can learn the basics etc.

If plod is feeling nasty, it still counts as a public place as the public have access. My brother got a telling off from a sympathetic copper for letting his then 16 year old lad get in some driving practice on a local shopping centre car park after hours.

Well this is where the late night 'CRUISE' (ROCK ONNNN!) is of a night so yeah probably a big no-no.

Industrial estates are pretty hot round here. I got caught by coppers, getting on a friends bike and burning up on the back wheel on the industrial estate, they suggested I handed the bike back to my mate and very quickly do one

Though I know Kayla wouldn't be doing that but they are hot around there.

God, I wish there was somewhere that you could actually legally practice on.
