right i found something interesting last night. Now, people probably know this, but i didnt even in my geeky ways!
I found that you can copy the music off your ipod onto your pc then if required whack it on another ipod without any software at all other than Itunes. Right its fidly but works a treat...for anyone that needs to do this. Open your ipod as a drive (Windows explorer or my computer) Search through for Music You will find folders named oddly, these are teh music folders. Create a folder on your PC (Call it wahtver you want) Open each folder in turn and copy the contents to your new folder Once done, open itunes and add folder to your itunes libary It will then add your music and label it all (If the ID3 tags were correct when you copied them to your ipod). It will then rename all the folders etc and you can then import them to WMP, or whatever flavour Media player you have. Job done Prbably been told before, but you never know ![]() |

I may be wrong, but I thought this only worked on iTunes v3 and below. Something to do with copyright infringement, meaning you can basically get anyones iPod, rip the tunes off and put them on yours. I might have my wores corssed though so dont quote me on that.
